Introduction

In addition to the normal museum exhibits and tour, a display of chemistry-related mineral processing that was carried out by the mill for use in the Leeds potteries will be set up in the warehouse/education space, along with related activities. Members of the RSC Central Yorkshire Committee will volunteer to answer questions from museum visitors. Normal admission charges will apply. Note for these events the museum is open from 1pm until 5pm with the last guided tour starting at 3.15 pm and last admission at 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday, 14 and 15, 21 and 22 November. The venue is Thwaite Mill, Thwaite Lane, Stourton, Leeds, LS10 1RP
