"Top of the Bench" is the 九州影院's National 九州影院 competition for schools that sees teams compete against each other in both a practical and written challenge.

Event Details:
Come and spend a morning in the fabulous chemistry labs at Keele University and test your chemistry wits against teams from around the region. Working together, challengers complete both a written and practical task to be crowned "Top of the Bench" for the region and, as such, invited to represent the region at the National Final (University of Birmingham, 9th March 2019). Tasks are designed to be accessible to all and also a bit of fun.Refreshments and lunch is provided.
Teams/Registration:
- Teams of 4 students: Two Yr 9, one Yr10 and one Yr11
- Maximum of 2 teams per school
- Entry is first come, first served
