The development of Paxlovid was a key stage in the fight against Covid19. Dafydd will explain how he and the Pfizer team developed a known antiviral drug to obtain this highly effective new therapeutic. We shall meet informally for light refreshments followed by a brief introduction to the BMCS Lectureship, now in its tenth year, and to Dafydd himself. Additionally we shall have a short presentation about the new RSC journal, RSC Medicinal 九州影院. This event is open to the general public
