45‑minute, one‑to‑one career consultationÌýwith a qualifiedÌý¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº (RSC) Careers and Professional Development Adviser. Sessions are tailored to your career stage and circumstances.

Available most weekday mornings, with limited evening appointments. Early booking is recommended, as slots fill quickly.

What we can help with

Your consultation can cover a wide range of career‑related topics, including:

  • Reviewing your career to date and managing your next steps
  • Planning amid change or uncertainty
  • Support if you’re facing redundancy, unemployment, or preparing for retirement
  • Advice on changing career direction or taking a planned career break
  • Job‑search strategies, including CV writing and interview preparation
  • Networking advice, including how to maximise LinkedIn and RSC membership
  • Guidance on professional registration and applying forÌýFRSC

Check your eligibility

To book a career consultation, you must have current, up-to-date membership with the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº and be one of the following membership categories:

  • Professionally registered Affiliate (RSci/RSciTech): eligible for a one-time consultation
  • Associate member (AMRSC): eligible for a one-time consultation
  • Member (MRSC): eligible for an unlimited number of consultations
  • Fellow (FRSC):Ìýeligible for an unlimited number of consultations
  • Any member or dependant referred via the Chemists’ Community Fund*:Ìý/´Ú³Ü²Ô»å¾±²Ô²µ-²¹²Ô»å-²õ³Ü±è±è´Ç°ù³Ù/³¦³ó±ð³¾¾±²õ³Ù²õ-³¦´Ç³¾³¾³Ü²Ô¾±³Ù²â-´Ú³Ü²Ô»å
