Mentoring
Engage, learn and develop

As the professional body for chemical scientists, the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº's mentoring programme connects our community with mentoring partners beyond their workplace and existing networks.
For mentors, it’s a chance to develop your communication and leadership skills while making a lasting positive impact. For mentees, it’s an opportunity to gain insights, guidance, and support to navigate career challenges.

RSC Mentorloop
With our platform, RSC Mentorloop, we can match mentors and mentees of all career stages, experiences and needs. The in-depth questionnaire means you are much more likely to find someone who fits your exact requirements, enabling you to select your own match or benefit from recommended matches. RSC Mentorloop also lets you set goals, schedule mentoring sessions and hold conversations, alongside tracking your progress and customising your profile.

What our community says
"I applied for the mentor programme as I was feeling unsupported in my career and overwhelmed by uncertainty. [My mentor] was always able to listen to me, interpret my worries and guide me to be kinder to myself and make proactive changes to improve my outlook and situation."
Rosalyn Falconer, Lecturer at the University of Auckland
