Biography
I am a bio-based chemicals, materials and fuels specialist with 18 years experience of supporting business and public sector organisations in the delivery of research projects and business plan development.
I offer broad project experience providing an in-depth knowledge of bio-based product market dynamics, stakeholders, drivers, challenges and competing forces. I also offer sustainability expertise including life cycle analysis interpretation, providing an understanding of impacts across bio-based product and biofuel value chains from biomass supply to product end-of-life impacts.
I have extensive experience in developing and delivering collaborative research projects and leading work packages within UK and European grant-funded projects. I also have extensive experience of developing, preparing and reviewing project proposals, including for UK and EU funding agencies.
The sectors I cover include bio-based commodity chemicals, bio-based and biodegradable plastics, consumer chemicals and industrial biotechnology.
