Biography
I am a Chemist & Materials Scientist, with 10+ years鈥� experience in the oil and gas, polymer and speciality chemicals industries. I have experience in multiple facets of chemical science operations including analysis, manufacturing, process development, non-conformance investigations, non-routine analytical investigations, quality control testing and regulatory affairs.
I currently provide bespoke consultancy services to the maritime, energy and transportation sectors specialising in petroleum and petrochemical cargo contamination and losses, bunker fuel quality disputes, coating failure investigations and polymeric material failure investigations (thermoset, thermoplastic and composites). I am an independent expert who is sought after in dispute resolution cases, providing advice to Shipowners, Charterers, P&I Clubs, Traders, Suppliers, Insurers, and their legal counterparts. I regularly attend on site at laboratories, vessels, port terminals and at refineries to oversee sampling and testing on behalf of my clients. I have authored numerous technical reports for use in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
