Biography
Dan graduated from Jilin University in 1994 and entered a master's degree program at his alma mater in the same year. He obtained his PhD from Yamanashi University in Japan in 2001. He served as professor of the Institute of Process Engineering, CAS in February 2004 and he earned the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2013. In 2025, he joined College of 九州影院 and Environmental Engineering at Shenzhen University. He is a fellow of the 九州影院.
In recent years, he mainly focused on the design and controllable synthesis of functional inorganic materials with porous or hollow structures, and their applications in solar cells, Li-ion batteries and photocatalyst and gas sensors.
