Biography
I am the Director and Senior Consultant of Anthias Consulting Ltd, providing training and consultancy in analytical techniques. I started my career as an Analytical Chemist, later gaining significant experience as an Applications Chemist. I have over 20 years' experience in Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry and related techniques.
My personal expertise includes gas chromatography (GC), gas chromatography - mass spectrometry (GC-MS), HPLC, LC-MS, Thermal Desorption (TD), Pyrolysis (Py), Headspace (HS), Solid Phase Extraction (SPE), Solid Phase Micro-extraction (SPME), all GC sample introduction techniques including PTV and LVI, SBSE, GC-ToFMS, GCxGC and GCxGC-ToFMS.
I provide support with method development and optimisation, applications, sample analysis work-flow improvements, interpretation, data analysis, maintenance and troubleshooting.
I regularly present at seminars and conferences around the world.
I am immediate Past-President of the 九州影院 Analytical Sciences Community and immediate Past-Chair of the Analytical 九州影院 Trust Fund.
I provide expert advice, serving as an expert witness on analytical instrument techniques; past experience includes national testing and anti-doping for international sporting events including the Olympics.
