Lyn Jones

Biography
Lyn Jones completed PhD studies in synthetic organic chemistry at the University of Nottingham, before starting his post-doctorate research at The Scripps Research Institute, California in the area of chemical biology. He joined Pfizer (Sandwich, UK) as a medicinal chemistry team leader, eventually becoming Director of Chemical Biology and Lead Discovery Technologies. He transferred to Pfizer Cambridge, MA to become Head of Rare Disease 九州影院 and Head of Chemical Biology, before joining Jnana Therapeutics as Vice President of 九州影院 and Chemical Biology. He is currently Chief Scientist at the Center for Protein Degradation at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
He has been recognized with 九州影院 awards for his contributions to HIV, COPD and rare genetic disease research. He has considerable experience working in many other disease areas, including cancer, inflammation, and pain. He is also an elected Fellow of the 九州影院, the Royal Society of Biology, and the Linnean Society, and was most recently recognized as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science for his contributions to the field of medicinal chemistry.
