Biography
Suparna Mukherji is the Institute Chair Professor at the Environmental Science and Engineering Department at IIT Bombay. She is also the Head of the Sophisticated Analytical Instrument Facility (SAIF) and Centre for Research in Nanotechnology and Science (CRNTS) at IIT Bombay. Her primary research interests include monitoring microorganisms and micropollutants in water; water treatment; and wastewater treatment, recycling, and reuse. She has extensive expertise in the biological treatment of recalcitrant pollutants and the synthesis and application of nanomaterials for sensing and water/wastewater treatment.
