Phishing warning and office closure notice 01-May-2024
We are aware of phishing emails targeting speakers of events whose names appear on our events pages. If you are unsure if an email regarding event registration or accommodation has come from us please contact us and do not provide any credit card details or personal information.

The Events Team office will be closed from Thursday 24 December 2025 until Monday 5 January 2026. You can still submit during this period but we will not be available to respond to enquiries or authorise listings until the week of our return.

Test the Chemist Pub Quiz

Introduction
The quiz is another popular and traditional event with Quiz Master Richard Evans.  It again takes place at the Chase Hotel, Whitehaven and should begin promptly at 19.30.  Very importantly please get in contact with the secretary Kevin Webb if wish to attend with teams including up to 4 persons, preferably before January.  There will be prizes for the winning team.  Some food will be provided.
