Marine Plastics - Local to Global

Introduction
Professor Andy Cundy works at the University of Southampton, in the National Oceanography Centre (Southampton). He has spent over 20 years engaged in cutting edge research that includes contaminant geochemistry, contaminated land and its management, and environmental geology and radioactivity. In this talk he will be focusing on plastics in the marine environment. He will be drawing upon his considerable expertise in the development of novel methods for contaminated land and water management. Attendees can expect a well-informed talk aimed at the cusp of our understanding on an important environment issue.
