Water systems and microbiological control

24 April 2023 09:00-17:00, United Kingdom

Introduction
This new course provides an invaluable overview of water systems and their microbiological control for the manufacture of medicinal products Water is a major excipient and processing aid for medicines manufacture. Despite this, EU GMP has very limited coverage of water. This course is intended to provide an introduction to the types of water, systems for purifying drinking water and for systems and final water microbiological control.

All to often inadequate knowledge of water systems, design and their control can lead to unnecessary down time and in-effective root cause investigations. Successful completion of this course will equip individuals with an understanding of how water systems are designed and controlled to ensure that water quality does not adversely impact on the final product quality and therefore patient safety.
