This is a ChemNet visit for members aged 16-18.
There will be an introduction to MRC Human Nutrition Research and their research from fundamental principles to applied public health. Then there will be the opportunity to tour the different areas of the Elsie Widdowson Laboratory and to see some of the scientists in action who will explain their work. This will be followed by short talks on how members of the research team have got to their current positions and how chemistry plays a role in their work.
