Speakers
Professor Vadapalli Chandrasekhar, Associate Editor–Dalton Transactions
TIFR, India

Dr. Chandrasekhar obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in 1982. After a post-doctoral stint at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, he joined the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in 1987 where he holds the position of a Professor. He is currently on lien from Kanpur to the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research Hyderabad as a Distinguished Professor and Centre Director. His research interests include organometallic chemistry of main-group compounds and molecular materials. His research work is documented in 360+ publications. He is a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, India and also the World Academy of Sciences, Trieste, Italy. He is the recipient of several awards including the Shanthi Swarup Bhatnagar Award (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, India) and the Friedrich Wilhelm-Bessel Award (AvH Foundation, Germany) He has been on the editorial board of several journals including, Organometallics and Dalton Transactions.


Professor Chilla Malla Reddy, Editor-in-Chief CrystEngComm
IIT Hydertabad, India

Professor C Malla Reddy received his PhD in Crystal Engineering in 2006 from the University of Hyderabad, and took up Post-Doctoral Research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (2007 – 2008). He had been an Honorary Visiting Scientist to University of Bradford (2015-18) and a recipient of the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº’s Mobility Grant, Distinguished Lectureship Award from the Chemical Society of Japan (2017) and Swarnajayanti Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, India. He is a Co-editor of Acta Crystallogr. B and served as an Associate Editor for RSC Advances in 2015-16. He served on the Local Organizing Committee of IUCr2017@Hyderabad, India. His research group is engaged in understanding mechanical properties of organic solids, including pharmaceutical and optoelectronic crystals. Some of his well known contributions include the discovery of flexible elastic and plastic organic crystals, designing flexible crystals using Supramolecular Shape Synthons, etc.


Professor Asim Bhaumik, Associate Editor – Green ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº
IACS, India

Professor Asim Bhaumik received his Ph.D. in ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº from CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India in 1997. After completing his Ph.D. degree he moved to The University of Tokyo, Japan as a JSPS Post-Doctoral Fellow from 1997-1999. Then during 1999-2001 he was an Associate Researcher at Toyota Central R & D Labs., Inc. Nagoya, Japan.
After that, he joined the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India, where he is currently working as a Senior Professor. He has published over 525 original research articles and 16 patents with over 28000 citations. He is a Fellow of the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº (FRSC). His research interests are: exploring novel organic, inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid porous materials for the energy and environmental applications, developing heterogeneous catalysts for CO2 fixation reactions into fuels and fine chemicals, and green hydrogen. Professor Bhaumik is an associate editor of Green ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº.


Professor T. P. Radhakrishnan, University of Hyderabad, India

Professor T. P. Radhakrishnan is currently an emeritus Professor at University of Hyderabad. He obtained his PhD from Princeton University in 1987, followed by post-doctoral research at the University of Texas at El Paso. Professor Radhakrishnan is a recipient of several awards such CRS Gold Medal, Silver Medal of the Chemical Research Society of India, J. C. Bose National Fellowship, Ramanna Fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology and Swarnajayanti Fellowship of the Department of Science and Technology. He is also the Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences and Fellow of the Institute for Advanced Studies, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. At University of Hyderabad, Professor Radhakrishnan’s group focuses on design of novel molecules of materials interest, structure-function correlations, molecular crystals, nanocrystals, polymer-metal nanocomposite thin films, opto-electronic materials and electrocatalysts.


Dr. Richard Kelly, ChemComm
¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº, United Kingdom

Dr Kelly carried out his undergraduate and post graduate education at University of Liverpool, UK, obtaining his PhD studying lanthanide catalysis under Professor Helen Aspinall. He joined the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº’s editorial staff in 2004 and became Executive Editor of the RSC’s organic chemistry journals – including Organic & Biomolecular ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº and Natural Product Reports – in 2010. He is currently leading the general chemistry portfolio and is the Executive Editor of ChemComm and Chem Soc Rev.


Dr. Lijina MP, Asst. Ed. Manager (India)
¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº, India

Lijina is an Assistant Editorial Development Manager at the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº. As part of her role, she works across various disciplines and societies of chemical sciences and support the journals. Lijina completed her integrated PhD in chemistry from the Indian institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram and subsequently she joined RSC.
